WHAT TO PACK
Campers will be very active and should wear clothes that are comfortable, durable, and easily replaced if lost or damaged. Any item of significant value should be left at home. To ensure the health and safety of all campers, staff may inspect campers’ backpacks and hold items that are inappropriate at camp. We require campers to wear closed-toe shoes.

SUMMER THEME
|
We will all have many opportunities to forgive throughout our lives. Likewise, we will all be forgiven for things that we have done. How many times should we forgive someone? One time? Two times? In Matthew 18, this year’s summer theme text, Peter asks this question to Jesus. “Not seven times, but seventy seven times,” answers Jesus. This summer campers will explore what it means to show and receive mercy from four dynamic Scriptures. Sometimes it can be hard to see compassion and mercy in our day-to-day lives. We hope that campers will gain a deeper knowledge of how Christ has instructed us to multiply mercies every day of our lives. Like one candle lighting another, campers will see how mercy can be shared and make the world a brighter place in the name of the Lord.

VISITING YOUR CAMPER
Due to the length of our camp, we ask that parents do not visit campers unless there are extenuating circumstances. We do not like pulling campers out of programs for visits, it's disruptive and tends to trigger campers who are prone to homesickness. If your child is struggling at camp, you will be notified by a camp director. Please feel free to call the camp and we will give you an update on your camper's experience.
