BBQ & Bingo

September 16 - Fellowship Hall
Wednesday Night Fellowship returns on September 16 with our annual tradition of BBQ and Bingo. Dinner will be in the Fellowship Hall from 5:30 until 6:30 with many rounds of bingo to follow. There will be prizes! Invite your friends and neighbors to join us in this night of fellowship and fun. Wednesday night classes will resume the following week with options for adults, youth, and children as well as the nursery.
Community Pet Celebration
October 11 - Front Lawn
 On October 11 from 4:00pm-5:00pm, we will host our first “Community Pet Celebration.” The whole community is invited, not just church members. We will have stations with different activities such as handing out pet treats or making an animal-themed craft. There will even be a photo booth for you and your furry friends. And, of course, you can have have one of the pastors give a blessing for your pet. First Church will be collecting donations for the Washington County-Johnson City Animal Shelter throughout the duration of the celebration.

If you plan to bring an animal with you:
  • All animals must be up-to-date on vaccinations
  • Dogs must be on leash attached to a collar or harness
  • Cats and other pets must be in an enclosed carrier
  • If your pet does not do well around other animals or people, you may bring a photo of them with you
Food Pantry
September 26 - Neighborhood Center
We are seeking donations for our August Food Pantry on Saturday, September 26, 2026. Requested items include: Crackers in Sleeves, Applesauce and Fruit Cups, Laundry Detergent, Toilet Paper, and Dish Soap. The donations can be put in the boxes located in the Narthex and the Connector. If you prefer donate financially, you may click the button below, and specify it is for the Food Pantry. Funds go toward purchasing food from the Second Harvest Food Bank.
