Celebrating Our Staff!
Staff Appreciation Day at 1stChurchJC. On Sunday, July 27, we had a potluck luncheon to celebrate and show our appreciation for our caring, dedicated staff and pastors at FUMC: pastors, musicians, finance, our Early Learning Center director and team, custodians, kitchen cook, communications, age-related directors all work together to coordinate, lead and direct ministries and functions to help the church family carry on the mission of our church. We had great food (as always when it is potluck) and fellowship. The staff had a special red plate for their special day and also received a gift bag. Several church members have also thanked the SPPRC committee for organizing the annual luncheon.

You 'herd' me: at Messy Church in May, we learned about sheep needing a Good Shepherd! In July - Messy Church gets fruity: a study about the Fruits of the Spirit!
On Sunday May 18, a couple of sheep found their way to Messy Church. Pastors Jodie, Gary and Steve along with Katie Uelhof and other leaders had activities to help participants worship in a new way. Join us in June on the third Sunday for the next Messy Church!
