2022: BackPacks for Liberia
This year’s Hand-On Mission project for the Three Rivers District is “Backpacks for Liberia.”
The school kits will equip students to learn and grow and keep the sometimes prohibitive cost of school supplies from keeping them from pursuing their education. The district goal is 400 backpacks. To do our part to help, FUMC has set a goal of 40 backpacks. Sunday School classes can put these backpacks together or you can assemble one on your own. All supplies should be placed in the backpack, and please do not add any extra items. Filled backpacks can be left in the copy room at the church office.
