LEADERSHIP PILLAR

The Leadership Pillar is charged with developing leadership for the future of our church. This includes working as what used to be called the nominations committee which chose church members to be on the various committees, teams, and pillars within the church.  Typically this is chaired by the pastor and co-chaired by another church member.

The leadership team is responsible for identifying, recruiting and training servants to serve the body and our community.  Servants in the church include teachers, small group leaders, pillar chairs, and more.

In an effort to organize and coordinate local church efforts to effectively and efficiently meet the needs in our community, the Church Mobilization Network links churches and local organizations to agencies and services that already exist.  There are additional benefits to the church and individual members through Summit Leadership as part of this membership.
