First United Methodist Church, Johnson City, is a praying church family. You are encouraged to strengthen and supplement your personal prayer life. You can submit a prayer request to the pastor or another staff person via the link below, or by listing it on the bulletin tear off tab. You can be assured that sincere requests will be honored. Requests for prayer can be published in the bulletin if you would like, or excluded from publication.
You can also join a prayer group which meets at church each month. If you are interested you can join a list of volunteers who rotate through each Sunday praying for the worship partipants during the 10:30 worship service. There are also some who knit and share prayer shawls to provide to someone who might need a reminder that they have been remembered in prayer.
