The alter was transformed for Sunday 10/27 to represent a Table of Plenty while part of our worship service focused on feeding the hungry and challenging the systems which perpetuate the problem. The children prepared paper bags for us which were then filled with goods for the community food pantry at the First Church Neighborhood Center.

Wednesday Niter, May 15, at Powell Park just down the block. 1st Church invited our neighbors in the tree street community to a picnic. Hot dogs, games, a visit by the bat mobile courtesy of one of our neighbors - lots of fun and fellowship
