In April 2017, our Outreach Pillar and Steve Reis welcomed an organization to our church to lead an open dialogue called A Conversation about the Christian Response to the Refugee Crisis.
Drocella Mugorewera, Executive Director of Bridge Refugee Services from Knoxville along with Steve Reis and a moderator provided a roundtable discussion in a question and answer format along with an opportunity for audience participation. The result was a meaningful, informative conversation. Our church will provide a gift to The Bridge through some of the funds from our Faith Promise Mission Giving this year.
