First United Methodist Church is sponsoring a day of compassion ministry to our community on October 24, 2015. More than 12 projects are included in the list of activities which allow church and community members to put hands and heart to work to help those around us.
You can access the full brochure at the above link which describes the various projects, lists the project managers and gives the times and locations. There are MANY ways you can help even if you cannot work at a specific project. We will be supplying food for breakfast and lunch as well as water for break time. There is a need for child care to watch over the children of volunteers who are working at projects. Please look at the information and find a place where you can make a difference in the community. Ready? Set! GO! DO!
PLEASE EMAIL THE CHURCH IF YOU CANNOT SUBMIT A FORM TO REGISTER TO HELP AT ONE OF THE PROJECTS. OR CALL THE CHURCH OFFICE AT 928-9222. SOMEONE WILL CONTACT YOU TO CONFIRM.
