Spiritual Gifts Assessment Tool:
An Introduction
Discovering our spiritual gifts and using them in our daily lives is one of the best ways we can be of service to God and to His Church. You may already be aware of the gifts of the Spirit that God has given you to use. Whether it is to confirm your understanding or help you discover your spiritual gifts, this short survey (follow the link below) can help you do either.
At the same time, the assessment will give you an exciting glimpse of what you will discover by enrolling in the “Serving from the Heart” class, now being offered in our church. As you consider ways in which you can be employed in the promotion of God’s kingdom work through our church, strongly consider enrolling in this short, 6-week class. It will be offered several times throughout the year in order to meet everyone’s schedule. It is an excellent opportunity to go deeper into your personal understanding of where God needs you and where your church can use you best as a disciple of Christ. (contact Jeff Crowder or Anna Kapoor for further information on this class. Watch the newsletter or call the church office for scheduled class start times). Taking this assessment should not be an alternative to enrolling in the class, “Serving from the Heart.” Instead, it will serve to prepare you better for the class and give you a glimpse of the exciting discoveries you may have about yourself, if only to confirm the fact that you are already serving God in the ways He desires and needs you. Through small group discussion, you will learn more about yourself, regardless of your understanding of the gifts and talents the Lord has created within you. Please take the following assessment. You are encouraged to send a copy of your results to [email protected]. This will allow the instructors of the class to have a copy prior to you taking the class. This is optional and totally up to you. You can also print it off and have it ready to take to class. In any event have fun going deeper in discovering your spiritual gifts and continuing to be in relationship with the one who created you to be the person that you are! --Brian Rosecrance |
